Preface

We have spent the days and nights from winter to summer in a special way. From Wuhan to London to New York... these metropolises are quiet down; everything is still; and time becomes stagnant.

We have been waiting in silence, waiting for hope, waiting for a restart.

Keeping a distance is the theme of the world now. Although we have lost the spatial relationship of the past, this does not mean that we are lost. In the virtual world, our communication can be closer. People have seen you full of energy, with thousands of thoughts and enriched feelings...

Although we cannot meet in the exhibition hall of the Central Academy of Fine Arts today, we have met each other in the cloud. As I marvel at being able to view your works at such a close distance, a whole new world is opened.

Have all these happened by chance or for sure?

The works behind the screen are a suspense we leave for everyone! The mystery will be uncovered with your daily efforts in the future. We look forward to it.
